Golf course living in PGA National is great when you live in one of the 87 single family homes in Ironwood. Located along “The Fazio” course, these three bedroom, two baths homes are around 1,500 square feet in size. Some homes have decks for enjoying the South Florida lifestyle while watching golfers. These solid CBS construction homes may include fireplaces and although they don’t have private pools, there is an Ironwood community pool and bathhouse for the use of residents. These PGA National homes also feature vaulted ceilings.
The heart of PGA National though is the complex of five champion calibre golf courses which wind through the neighborhoods and seen at nearly every turn and opportunity. When the PGA Tour swings through south Florida in March, it makes a stop here and they play the Honda Classic on “The Champion” course.
PGA National is a carefully planned community of 2,340 acres with 800 acres set aside for green spaces including five golf courses, parks and playgrounds, hiking paths and cycling trails. 240 additional acres were set aside on the western side of the development for a natural preserve with a wooden viewing pavilion for observing wildlife which includes native wading birds, hawks and owls and possibly an otter or deer.
Although PGA is home to the PGA of America, it is also home to the famous PGA National Resort & Spa. Inside the Resort you will find hotel rooms, fine dining, an Olympic size pool, as well as luxurious spa amenities and treatments. The Resort lifestyle continues outside where 18 tennis courts, indoor racquetball courts and croquet court await you. It is a great place for out of town company to visit as well.
PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens provides quick access to cultural locations of downtown West Palm Beach and the airport to the south or Jupiter to the north and the shopping and dining district of Palm Beach Gardens along the PGA Boulevard corridor.
